The City of Bainbridge Island invites you to become involved in the streetscape design.

Winslow Way is lined with vibrant retail serving island residents. The rebuilt street has with new intersections, distinctive pedestrian amenities and lighting, wider walks, street trees, and small gardens. New seating areas and a variety of gathering spaces invite visitors to linger. There are more people living downtown in new and existing neighborhoods an in mixed use buildings along Winslow Way. The environment invites people to become pedestrians.
Rebuilding the street with utilities and amenities needed to create a pedestrian environment that will support vibrant retail, stimulate private reinvestment, encourage downtown living and showcase community values of art, gardens, ecology and history.
