Personal Information

During registration Team Initiative requires you to enter your name, a password and your email address. This information is collected to allow you to apply for group memberships and specify to the system where to send relevant group notifications.

Once registered, you have the option of adding a photograph of yourself, and a personal profile. This information, along with your email address, will optionally be visible to the other group members of the groups you have joined. You can edit and hide/unhide your personal profile at any time from the "User Details" page.

Use by City of Bainbridge Island Communities

The primary purpose for collecting personal and business information is to allow Group Members to communicate and collaborate with each other. We reserve the right to collate and aggregate user and transaction information to create service statistics. These are then used to allow us to monitor performance and to fine tune the service we offer you.

Use by Team Initiative Group Members

As a Group Member, you will have access to the disclosed personal details of other members of your group and visa versa. This information helps build the identity of the team and allows you to develop improved relationships with other group members. It also allows you to take ownership of information you contribute to the group.

Group content and notifications are subject to the access and distribution controls that are provided as you use Team Initiative.

Regarding both the content and personal details of other Group Members, you are requested not to publish this information without first obtaining their express permission.

Security

Access to Group information is restricted to Group Members unless Public Access is specified in the Group Permission Settings or when content is added. Please make sure that you keep your username and password information safe and do not provide it to third parties.

Subscription Services

Team Initiative allows you, on a group by group basis, to define the amount of email communications you receive:

• Immediate an email is sent to you any time a group member elects to notify group members of a particular message, document, task, database record, event or questionnaire.
• Summary a summary email is sent to you after a certain amount of activity or time has elapsed.
• Web Only you have to visit the web site to find out "What's New" within the group.
